SNAP Hydroponics Nutrient Solution

The SNAP hydroponics nutrient solution is a complete nutrient product for plants grown hydroponically using the SNAP method. Since the nutrient solution is made locally (Philippines), it is much cheaper than imported hydroponic nutrient solutions.

SNAP Hydroponics* was developed by the UPLB (University of the Philippines Los BaƱos) researchers led by Dr. Primitivo Jose A. Santos and Dr. Eureka Teresa M. Ocampo. The project was funded by the Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR) of the Department of Agriculture.
SNAP Nutrient Solution:
SNAP A & B

As of this writing, a set of the SNAP nutrient solution (SNAP A and B) costs around 300 to 400 pesos (plus shipping/handling) when you buy online. The nutrient solution is not readily available in local markets or malls.

I got my nutrient solution by ordering online and had it delivered here in Baguio City. Well, I also ordered several kilos of coco coir for my growing medium. The total cost including shipping was about 700 pesos for the set of nutrient solution and coco coir. Please take note that costs may vary, depending on your location and particular orders.

If you want to buy the products online, just type "SNAP Hydroponics" or "SNAP Hydroponics Philippines" in Google and you will see online sellers for the SNAP solution.

You may also buy the SNAP solution at the Bureau of Agriculture Research of the Department of Agriculture, in Visayas Avenue, Diliman Quezon City. You can contact them at telephone number (02) 928-8624 loc 1132.
